Writings for Weary Souls

These musings, scribbles and soul refractions form part of blog entries serving as a type of apothecary or alchemist’s workstation. The craft and experimentation we focus on is our own learning and transformation to do the work - Soulful Dialogue.

I may use different metaphors and ideas for the type of Soul Work we have in mind.

Soul could be mind, body, spirit, vigour and our creative participation with the cosmos on different occasions. I often enjoy exploring the Soul as a Spacious Aliveness with which we host the world within us.

Other times calling this work soul work, makes me cringe… then I speak of Dialogue and Social Contemplative work.

Writing and reflecting on how we perceive the world - our attention is the primary material here.

At times I may write very personally to reflect my mind.

What is most personal is most universal - Carl Rogers

Then again other writings may be collaborations, or even other people’s work that resonate with the overall objectives of Soulful Dialogue.

I will treat writing as a meditative effortful slow-thinking process to see my soul-mind at work…to allow for self-correction and attunement with all that is.

I hope the writings and recordings may act as a mirror for your own soul-mind.

I intend these writings to be fruitful offerings, though the fruits of my labour may be unedible or unpalatable at times… Mostly you might taste works in progress, which may lack the consistency and integrity of finished work.

I trust your discernment to take what is useful and discard the rest.
